CALL FOR PROJECTS:
Project nomination forms due by March 1, 2011
Our goal is to create and build the first phase of an inclusive, playground at Claybell Park (425 Broadmoor) in Richland, WA from 9:00-1:00, as well as build trails on the west fork of Amon Creek. We want this to be the Mid-Columbias first all-abilities, destination playground with an environment where all children and their families are encouraged to play together, regardless of their abilities, and in a safe environment. This playground will provide accessibility, age and developmental appropriateness, as well as sensory stimulating activities. It will encourage socialization and allow every child the ability to explore and play.
